Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol Counties (VNS) is an independently operated 501c (3) non profit agency founded in 1950.
We are a Medicare-licensed agency, (Home Care & Hospice) located on Aquidneck Island. A Medicare licensed agency provides
skilled care that requires a Physician order, professional staff, as well as an ancillary personnel and volunteers.
Visiting Nurse Service's compassionate caregivers have developed a reputation for going the extra mile for their patients.

Our caregivers closely track their patients' progress to ensure appropriate milestones have been met and outcomes are achieved.
But most importantly, our nurses are committed 24 hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week to addressing the needs of patients requiring
complex medical care in their home environments.
Our home health care, hospice and ambulatory services bring health care services to all patients and families both at home
and in the clinic setting. We provide health care and health education to all individual regardless of their ability to pay.
